CHIDEOCK HISTORY BOARD AND VILLAGE TRAIL LEAFLETS

We hope you have all had a good look at the History Information Board in Foss Orchard Car Park and that you have enjoyed the excellent illustrations by Gillian Moores, the information about the history of the Parish by Antony Broad and the lovely oak frame crafted by John Parker. The Chideock Society committee are very grateful to all those who contributed in both time and money to the making of the board including the WDDC Community Fund, the South West Arts Network, Chideock W.I., Chideock Roman Catholic Church, The Parish Council, LamArt Dorchester and the Chideock Society. We hope it will be appreciated by both residents and visitors for many years to come. The Chideock Village Trail leaflets, which provide a guided tour around some of the most historic buildings and places of interest in the parish, are available in the village shop.
