- Bopper Bus Kids take part in Lions Swimathon
The Bopper Bus entered two teams in The Bridport Lions Swimathon held last Sunday at The Bridport Leisure Centre. This annual event raises money to enable the Bridport Lions to support local organisations and good causes. It was an excellent event with our ‘kids’ really giving their all! We are very proud of them and many thanks to Melanie & Mandy Harvey (Bopper Bus Committee members) who collected the children and encouraged them whilst they swam their lengths. Everyone had a great time and the children were all asking “can we do it again next year?” which we will certainly be encouraging. The organisation of the event was excellent and great fun and hopefully was a huge financial success.
