Yew Tree House is ideally suited to family groups and friends and is situated on the edge of Chideock village with spectacular countryside views from the rear of the house and garden.
Yew Tree House is an extremely comfortable and spacious house, with period features and a welcoming wood-burner in the larger of the two sitting rooms. It sleeps up to 7 people so is perfect for family groups or friends and people who simply want more space than a traditional cottage can provide. The atmosphere is so peaceful you may decide to simply relax with a book in the garden sitting room, or on the patio in the large, enclosed garden, enjoying the stunning views of the Dorset countryside. Family mealtimes at the large farmhouse table can be spent planning coastal walks, local market trips, fossil collecting, beach and kayak ventures or fishing trips.
In the master bedroom upstairs there is a king size bed, a 32” TV and an ensuite shower room. Beside this bedroom is a triple sleeper bedroom which features a 4ft 6” double bed with a 3ft single bunk bed above, suitable for both adults and children. There is also a family bathroom with a roll top bath and hand held shower, perfect for bathing small children or adults who like a long soak! The large landing provides a generous work space with the desk overlooking the driveway to the front, ideal for catching up on your emails.
Downstairs there are two living rooms, both with TV/DVD, the larger one featuring a cosy wood burner. The spacious kitchen diner leads directly into the garden sitting room with bi-fold doors opening onto the patio and garden, providing magnificent views of the adjacent fields beyond. Seatown Beach is only a short 20 minutes walk away through the fields and leafy lanes.
