WORKING ON THE ST.GILES WILDLIFE CHURCHYARD PROJECT

  wildlife project

A big ‘thank you ‘ to Shay Devine and Rob Murray for volunteering to do the ‘autumn strim’ and ‘mow’ in the Churchyard ready for 2023 Wildlife Project. Today all the dead ivy was removed by Shay & Robert from the North Wall leaving a massive pile of debris to be cut up, bagged up and taken away. An ‘urgent’ appeal was sent out and this afternoon and Lynn Stapleton, Peter Stapleton and Lyn Crisp came to the rescue. By 5-00pm all was cleared and bagged up ready to go to the tip.  Please if anyone wants to help in the Wildlife Churchyard there is always lots to do. We also need some help from a Stone Mason as many of the headstones have been badly neglected over the years. please contact Lyn Crisp on 01297489098 or email lyncrisp@chideockandseatown.co.uk.
