TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT NOTICE, SEA HILL LANE, SEATOWN
DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. The
Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working
areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 20 April 2026 between
0900 and 1600 and remain in force for five days, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 21 April
2026.
This Notice will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works.
The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary road closure on Sea Hill Lane, Seatown between Seatown House and the public toilets, a
distance of approximately 15 metres.
[2] To impose a parking suspension, as indicated by signs on site, to prevent parking on the highway along Sea Hill
Lane, Seatown between Seatown House and the public toilets, a distance of approximately 15 metres.
[3] To impose a clearway, as indicated by signs on site, to prevent waiting on the highway along Sea Hill Lane,
Seatown between Seatown House and the public toilets, a distance of approximately 15 metres.
