The National Trust have now advised that the ‘lighting of Thorncombe Beacon’ for the Jubilee celebrations will be at 10.00 p.m. and not 12.00 midnight as previously intimated. Therefore, we are now inviting people to join the torchlight procession at 9.00 p.m. and not 10-00 pm as previously indicated on posters and in news features. Please all meet in the Seatown Car Park at 9.00pm on Monday 4th. Please bring torches as it maybe dark on the way back!
