Our first Fundraising event ‘The Sponsored Walk’ was an amazing success raising £1,353.50. The latest news on The Clock is that a further £95,000 has finally been agreed by the Insurers towards the cost of rebuilding which whilst great news still leaves a considerable deficit so our ‘Fund Raising’ will continue. Our next Event will be ‘The Big Breakfast’ on Sunday 6th December followed by ‘Carol Singing’ on Friday 18th December. Events for 2016 will be a ‘Ladies Swishing Clothes Swap Party’ on Wednesday 20th January at The George Inn, Valentine’s Disco in the Village Hall on Saturday 13th February and ‘Put back the Clock – Music & Entertainment Evening’ on Saturday 5th March. A ‘Pictorial Quiz of Chideock’ is also being arranged. Please put these dates in your diary and look out for Posters.
