The weather was wonderful for the Sponsored Walk on behalf of The Clock House Chideock Appeal. The intrepid walkers reached the top of Golden Cap around 3.00pm to beautiful sunshine and some terrific views. They then returned to the bay Tree Tearooms in Chideock where Sally & Jerry Coade hosted a wonderful tea for both the walkers and other visitors. The amount raised overall was a staggering £1,350.50. Many thanks to all those that took part. The next SOCC (Save our Clock Campaign) event will be The Big Breakfast on Sunday 6th December in the village hall, please make a note in your diary.
