Calling all budding artists who are passionate about art and may wish to practice and extend their knowledge!
Chideock Art Group has flourished for many years adapting and reinventing itself over that time to keep up with current approaches to art and the demands of its members. This is a group for beginners and experienced artists, who all support each other to get the most out of sessions whatever we want – enjoyment and development being most important. Whatever our experience we are still learning and many of us were beginners when we came to Chideock. Each ten week term has at least five tutored sessions and other sessions are given to follow up the work or persue our own work and interests. Visitors are welcome to attend tutored sessions, at a cost of just £10 per session.
We meet at the Chideock Village Hall on Monday afternoons between 2 and 5pm for three terms a year (excluding Bank Holidays)
Please see to the right of this page, some examples of our work, and remember that we ALL have large slush piles!!! Four members of the Chideock Art Group exhibited their work at the Bridport Art Society’s 2013 Summer Exhibition. Anne Walker’s painting of a Flower Market (above) was awarded a commendation.

Come and join us – New Members always welcome – call in for a cup of tea around 3pm and see what we do. We meet in the Village Hall on Mondays at 2pm.
