DCC Household Support Fund is going “live” tomorrow morning (ie 4/11/22) and that the eligibility criteria are wide, so that high demand is expected (ie it’ll run out quickly!).
Applications will be online via DCC website, but if you can’t apply online call 01305 221000. The fund is designed to provide short term financial support to vulnerable household who are struggling to afford household essentials this winter (including fuel).
Applicants must have:

£30,000 or less total household income (including any benefit income)

savings of less than £16,000

no evidence of income/savings are required, but applicants need to upload ID when applying (eg driving license, passport, birth certificate, council tax bill, benefit letter, bus pass).Contact your local citizens advice bureau for more information if needed
