Thank you to all ‘classic car owners’ for making yesterday’s Classic Car Show such a success with everyone it seems having a great time. Thank you to all the guys that helped set up the marquees, tables, etc., and taking them all down again..it was a long day but so worthwhile. We were so so lucky with the glorious weather especially after the continuous rain and wind of today! Thank you to everyone that came along, enjoyed the refreshments, entered the Raffle and made it such a wonderful Community event. We raised a little over £1,000 from the profits of refreshments, BBq, Raffle and donations. This amount will set us on our way to buy the second Ground Trampoline. The first Ground Trampoline has already been paid for from monies raised over the last two years at Fetes, Classic Car Show, Cream Teas etc., and should have already been placed in the Play Area. However, due to dreadful weather over the last months this has not been possible yet as mini-diggers etc., are required for the installation. Please come along and support us at our next Fundraiser – Cream Tea at Chideock House Gardens on Saturday 15th June. Not forgetting the Fete on Saturday 17th August.
