The Chideock Society Speaker Evening will be on Tuesday November 10th the title being ‘Chideock resident in the front line against Polio’. Polio is no longer a problem in the world, right? Wrong. It’s still killing and disabling people across the world. But vaccination is effective and there are programmes to spread this wider. In fact, one of our own residents plays a frontline part in the battle to eradicate this cruel disease. Come and hear Chideock and Seatown resident, Clive Bath, talk about his role in getting Polio vaccines to remote communities in India. 7.15pm in the Village Hall. All welcome. Members free, visitors £4.00.
