CHIDEOCK PLAYERS
At the AGM held on 15th July it was announced that THE President, Chris Walliker, is to retire, having spent many years in the position. He is to be replaced by Jim Pettifer, who confirmed his acceptance of the appointment. Thanks were given to Chris for his work and support for the Players for such a long time. After serving 4 years of a 3 year term (!), Nick Baker is resigning as Chairman; his successor is Moira Lucas. Best wishes were extended to Jim and Moira in their new roles.
The next play will be a comedy, DISH OF THE DAY. It will be directed by Val Cowell, and will be staged on 28, 29th and 30th November – further details will be announced nearer the time.
