On Bank Holiday Monday 29th May Chideock will be holding their own very own Flower & Produce Show. This is an opportunity for everyone to showcase how talented and creative Chideock really is! The definition of ‘production’ is manufacture, making of construction. That is exactly what we are looking forward to see, just what you can ‘produce’. A blue covered booklet will be delivered to all homes showing all the different classes ranging from Fruit, vegetables, home produce, i.e baking, jam making etc., wine & beer production, Handicrafts, Flowers, Art and Photography – something for everyone! Special Classes for children and ‘men only’. Everything you need to know including the rules is in the blue booklet. If you have not received one or require more information please call 01297 480831. This is a first attempt at a show for many years. Please help to make it a big success by participating in any way you can. This maybe entering the different classes, coming to the show or volunteering to help on the day. All monies raised will help with the Village Hall Kitchen Fund. The Show will be open from 12.30pm until 3.30pm in the Village Hall. Your work of art or jam making skills can be put to the test and maybe be awarded a First Prize!
