Chrissie Squire – 1894 to 1976 known as The Chideock Egg Lady. Frances Colville resident in Chideock has done much research into Christina (Chrissie) Squire and why she became known as The Chideock Egg Lady. The Squire family have a long history in Chideock and whilst her brothers fought in the First Wordl War Chrissie determined that she would ‘do her bit’.
