The Annual Pumpkin Weigh In took place at the George on Sunday, 23rd October. This year, Roy Copp came up with a wopper at 146 lbs. Congratulations to him. The event was well attended and lots of money was raised for the Chideock Cider Makers’ chosen charity which was the St Giles Bells and Tower.

W.I. Golden Cap Group Meeting held at Chideock Village Hall on 21st September 2011 at 6-30 p.m. Guests and members were greeted at the door with a glass of bubbly served by barman Mike. The County Chairman Ann Livingstone attended the event along with guests from Thornecombe, Blackdown, Whitchurch and Morcomblake Institutes.
