Work has now started on the new ‘ringing floor’ and wooden screen. The bells cannot be rung until the works are finished which is estimated at the first week in May.

The Casterbridge Choir will be performing in St.Giles Church on Wednesday August 14th at 7-30pm. ‘A Mid-Summer Serenade’ includes a medley from Pirates of Penzance, Oliver, Les Miserables and some songs from the Swing era. The Interdenominational Village Service of Remembrance is to be held at St. Giles Church on Sunday 10th November at 10.55am. There will be an Act of Remembrance at 11am followed by a service for those who wish to stay.
