If you are interested in Chideock of the past or researching any of your ancestors please come along to the Village Hall on Thursday 15th March from 2-4pm and share memories of your village. Bring along your photographs, memorabilia or anything associated to the Village. Bridport Museum staff will be in attendance and also be bringing photographs from their collection and giving a presentation on resources available to you in the Local History Centre. You will be able to order copies of many of the photographs held by the Museum and they in turn may wish ‘to scan’ some of yours for their archives. This will be a wonderful opportunity to ‘take a peek’ at other peoples collections of photographs and memorabilia and chat about the history of the village. Enjoy a cup of tea, share some stories and maybe hear some new ones….. The event is free, so do come along and bring your friends!
