A QUIZ NIGHT is being held in the Village Hall on Friday 19th April, 7-15 for 7-30pm. Admission on the door is £6.00 and includes a Super Supper. Prizes for top five tables. Please bring your own wine and glasses. In aid of St. Giles Church. Come along and ‘pit your wits’ against Chideock’s finest!

The Geraniums, Petunias, Nicotinia, etc, and tomato and vegetable plants were all to immature to bring to the Easter Sale so another sale will be held on Bank Holiday Monday 7th May at 9-30 a.m. in The St. Giles Churchyard. The National Trust have now advised that the ‘lighting of Thorncombe Beacon’ for the Jubilee celebrations will be at 10.00 p.m. and not 12.00 midnight as previously intimated.
