Venn Orchard is a large single-level bungalow situated in the superb scenic countryside setting of North Chideock which is ideal for large families wishing to exploring the best of both countryside and coastal West Dorset.
The cottage living room has spectacular views across the countryside and has four large bedrooms in the main part of the house (king ensuite, 2 x double and one twin). An annexe (with wet room) is attached to the bungalow which has two further bedrooms, so six bedrooms in total, suitable for up to 12 guests.
This annexe is wheel chair friendly with a wet room and small kitchen area. This makes it a perfect retreat for either the more elderly grandparents or for a family with young children. There are two bedrooms, a King size bed with an en-suite (Jack and Jill) and a bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk above it. The annex has a small patio area of its own with a table and comfortable chairs. The main garden has outdoor seating for 12.
There is use of the games barn with a pool table, table tennis, golf, skittles, darts and plenty of space for children to ride bikes and scooters if the weather becomes inclement.
For keeping the cottage nice and cosy in the colder months, there is a woodburner and an electric AGA range in the kitchen. With satellite smart cinema TV, wifi, a games cupboard and a library it is certainly well equipped for all ages of the family to enjoy.
