UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP
STILL AVAILABILITY IN MAY, JUNE AND JULY 2021
Situated at the end of leafy Hell Lane, the infamous place where smuggling took place more than 400 years ago, you’ll find Hell Barn Cottages. These 5 rustic barns are situated around a little courtyard and are now available as holiday cottages offering a sanctuary from the ravages of 21st century life. They are surrounded by beautiful, rolling countryside and just a couple of miles from the sea at Seatown. They will appeal to guests who wish to spend their leisure time close to nature with the stunning World Heritage Jurassic Coastline on the doorstep.
This privileged location, which is a designated Area of Natural Beauty (AONB) and conservation area, is served by a network of public footpaths and bridleways which lead to Colmers Hill, an iconic landmark of the Bridport area with its cluster of trees perched on top of an isolated hill. The path of Hell Lane itself leads to one of the most enigmatic holloways in Britain. Also from here you can walk easily to the beaches at Seatown, Eype and West Bay.
Families can enjoy relaxing in the beautifully manicured gardens or children can use the play equipment available for all to enjoy. In inclement weather, the games room is a welcome alternative with table tennis, billiards and table football.
