A30/A35 Exeter to Bere Regis Trunk Road Maintenance, Chideock Village
SWH/BBIS is the Managing Agent Contractor for Connect A30/A35 Limited, the concessionaire responsible for the operation and maintenance of the A30 and A35 between Exeter and Bere Regis, on behalf of Highways England.
The works. As part of the maintenance strategy for the A30/A35, it will be necessary to carry out some drainage repairs in and around Chideock Village in advance of our surfacing works on the A35 Chideock, Dorset. The extent of the drainage works will be between Chideock Hill and London Inn. We would like to apologise in advance for any disruption these essential works may cause.

Traffic Management
The drainage repairs will be carried using traffic signals which will remain in place 24hrs a day. The drainage works are planned to be carried out during the daytime but there may be a requirement for night works during which full carriageway closures will be necessary. All excavation/noisy works will be carried out at the start of shift and completed where possible by 11pm. There are no current plans for works on weekends or for traffic management to be in place on weekends.
Please note: some travel delays should be expected and we would suggest allowing extra time for your journey if an alternative or deferred travel arrangements are not possible.
These works are weather susceptible and may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to communicate any change in programme as soon as possible.
