A CHIDEOCK ‘AMBLE’

From the Chideock Society:

July 18th, 6.30pm

Join us for an easy amble around Chideock!

On July 18th, Colin Bowditch will once again guide an easy walk around parts of Chideock, picking out interesting features and chatting about local history. Local historian Antony Broad will also join us.

Last year’s amble was a tremendous success- an easy walk with interesting chats and good company!
We’ll meet at the car park by the village shop at 6.30pm and will then take an easy amble through field and lane- and there may be the occasional stile to negotiate- so make sure you wear stout footwear. Last year’s amble lasted around 2 hours, with frequent stops and no steep hills, and we expect it to be similar this year.
THIS EVENT IS SUBJECT TO THERE BEING GOOD WEATHER AND MAY BE CANCELLED AT SHORT NOTICE SO, IF YOU’RE INTENDING TO COME ALONG, PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR INTEREST BY REPLYING TO THIS EMAIL- THAT WAY WE CAN LET YOU KNOW IF WEATHER FORCES A CANCELLATION.
