The George Inn is a traditional Dorset thatched pub that is popular with both locals and holiday makers.

Produce is bought daily depending on seasonality, from what is offered by nearby farms, caught in the sea, grown in the garden, foraged, shot or available at good local suppliers. All the dairy and cheeses also come from South West. In fact, Steve and Emma only serve food which they would like to eat themselves.
Using only the freshest and finest ingredients, the food is prepared and cook only when you order – it takes time, effort and patience but it is certainly worth it!
George Inn Pizza
The George also has a regular pizza night (Thursdays) where they make their own dough and cook a variety of pizzas with different toppings on the woodfired oven on the patio. Wednesdays and Saturdays are regular live music nights at The George and there is a monthly Quiz night on a Sunday which is also a firm favourite.
