The Chideock Society AGM will be held on Tuesday 8th October at 7-15pm in the Village Hall. Dr Tom Brereton , Director of the Dolphin Research Programme will give a presentation on sealife in Lyme Bay. In November, David Sales, Chairman of Bridport and West Bay Commercial Boatowners and Fishermen’s Association will be coming to give a presentation which will include information about the Blue Marine Foundation, an alliance of fishermen and conservationists whose aim is to protect Lyme Bay from overfishing. Sadly, Rhoda and Terry Elwick are leaving for a new adventure in Spain and their presence will be very much missed on the Committee. At the AGM the Chideock Society will be outlining their future events. Everyone is welcome. Excellent Coffee and biscuits will be available.
