I received a very warm welcome from the Chideock W.I. when I attended their July Meeting and gave a talk on ‘three village projects’ namely The Bopper Bus, The Chideock and Seatown Community Website and The Down your Way column I write in the Bridport News. I hope members were interested and many expressed after the talk that they never realised there was so much on the website. Statistics showed a flurry of activity on Tuesday evening so hopefully members ‘logged on’. I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon with the W.I. members which I found very entertaining and informative. I was very happy to give my talk and I was surprised and delighted when the W.I. Chairman, Shirley Lambert presented me with a cheque for £50 to The Bopper Bus. Thank you Chideock W.I. for such a lovely afternoon.
