The Chideock Martyrs Church roof is in need of repair and they are inviting people to Sponsor a Tile or donate to their appeal. The dome (or cupola) was replaced in 1960 with the current roof but this is now leaking and damaging the interior. It is hoped to replace it with the original design which was a copy on a smaller scale based on Brunelleschi’s great dome in Florence.
