Need help with the cost of travelling to School or College this September?
The Chideock Village Trust can help
As part of a new scheme, the Trust will provide a flat rate grant of £500 to all young people in years 12 and 13 who are resident in the village. These grants are designed to support students to get to school, college or work placements, particularly vital given that public funding for school transport stops after year 11.
All you need to do to access the grant is to send an email to :

The trustees would also welcome applications for grants, to support school trips, educational courses at any age and from people wishing to enhance our historic village.
The trustees meet quarterly to discuss applications so you won’t have long to wait to learn if your request has been successful.
