Chideock Manor is situated on the way to North Chideock and the garden is now open to the public by appointment. It is open throughout the year to groups who may wish to wander around the 12 acres with 21 different garden areas. With a lake, woodlands, a stream, vegetable garden and a parterre, Chideock Manor Garden is indeed extensive and varied.
The gardens are naturally set on different levels so from each there are tantalising glimpses of others. There are some unusual plants in these gardens including some 20 varieties of Magnolia, and uncounted varieties of Camelia. Rhodedendron, Hydrangeas, and Cornus. There are also many paths providing walks through the woods and around the lake.
