Bridport-Beaminster Number 6 bus service to cease | Help Chris Loder MP fight the decision
First Wessex announced in January 2020 that it planned to cease the Number 6 service between Bridport and Beaminster from 1st May, citing ‘continuing losses’ that make it unviable. We are now in a situation where the only bus link between Bridport, Beaminster and Crewkerne, and consequently the chance of connecting with a train to London, is to be discontinued. This is unacceptable. I would like to champion this cause for the local community, help me understand more about how this decision affects you by completing this short survey.
