CHIDEOCK CEMETERY – COMMUNITY WORK PARTY

Some readers may have noticed an unusual level of activity around Chideock Cemetery recently? Sources can reveal that excavators, dumpers, diggers and of course, blokes leaning on shovels, have been hard at work. The team have been putting down a trackway to allow easy access from the road for both pedestrians and vehicles.

A big thanks to The Chideock Cider Makers who provided not only the muscle, but also the machinery. Special thanks go to Phil Seal, Dave Symonds, Colin Hopkins and Stuart Halsey for their efforts.

Thanks also go to Connect the contractors, and in particular Mr Graham Tebbit who provided and laid the surfacing material which was reclaimed from the current A35 improvement works and to Rob Murray and Sal Robinson of the Chideock Parish Council.
